Managing the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spendingGenerating and implementing efficient sourcing and category management strategiesAnalyzing and calculating costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditureManage the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spendingGenerate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategiesAnalyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditureInvent negotiation strategies and secure profitable dealsOptimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiencyCooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processesResearch and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliersPerform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarkingEstimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniquesDiscover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliersDetermine quantity and timing of deliveriesEnsure the procurement process adheres to all legal and regulatory standardsAssist in development of sourcing strategies, including investigating new sources of supplyRole-play vendor searches and negotiationsDevelop and manage relationships with existing and potential vendors, suppliers, and manufacturersAssist in supplier selection and negotiationsDevelop and manage vendor performance scorecardsMaintain vendor database (including contact information, organizational history, and performance metrics)Play a key role in developing, maintaining, and improving the organizational purchasing policies and proceduresReview and evaluate vendor proposals and contractsBe the liaison between the purchasing department and vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers
What you need to have:8+ Years of experience in Source, Procurement or Payable processesBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Preferred Qualified MBA Procurement Specialist
