Senior Mobile Localization Engineer PositionThis senior-level role is for a talented localization leader to shape standards, guide the L10n Engineering team and manage daily activities. The ideal candidate will lead the team for efficient and automation tasks ensuring mobile apps and device UI experiences are globally ready by supporting localization workflows automation and technical integration across all platforms.The responsibilities include leading team activities and roadmap interfacing with internal teams preparing mobile UI strings app content and resource files for localization developing automation scripts for mobile localization workflows.The candidate should work closely with linguists PMs and mobile engineers to integrate localized assets troubleshoot encoding formatting build and platform-specific issues (iOS/Android) and validate localized app builds layouts and device displays.Maintaining documentation for workflows tools integrations and localization standards is also an essential part of this role.Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or a related field; a Master's preferred.Strong scripting and programming skills in Python JavaScript or similar languages are required.Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work across multiple teams and systems are also necessary.Candidates with 4-6+ years of experience in localization engineering mobile development or related technical roles and 2+ years of leadership experience are preferred.A strong knowledge of mobile localization workflows and formats proficiency in scripting languages and experience with iOS/Android build processes and common mobile UI behaviors are also required.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Mobile Localization Engineer will be responsible for guiding the team on effective use of tools and technologies maintaining high-quality standards for mobile localization products and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
