Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description:Contract - long termAt least 8 years of extensive professional hands-on experience in Quality Assurance is required.The Quality Assurance Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality testing standards are utilized on all products and systems within our applications portfolio.Primary responsibilities include manual planning, test execution, and process improvement. Additional duties involve maintaining our automated testing framework and test cases.Working closely with QA and Development teams to drive and improve delivery processes is also a key aspect of the role.Position Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area.At least 8 years of professional experience on various projects in Test Strategy, Test Design, Test Execution analysis & reporting.Experience designing test strategies and end-to-end test scenarios as well as estimating test efforts.Hands-on experience with Automated Testing tools building framework and automated scripts using automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, etc. is mandatory.Experience in Java or JavaScript is essential.Strong understanding of software QE concepts, recommended practices, and methodology that cover functional testing, integration testing, regression testing and UAT is required.Ability to manage multiple test events and projects at a time.Strong hands-on experience in Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies.Hands-on experience with Jira, ALM, TFS/ADO or similar systems of record.API testing tools & automation (Rest-Assured, SoapUI, Postman, SOAtest or CA LISA etc.) experience is highly desirable.Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or Bitbucket is preferred.Hands-on experience using SQL queries for results validation and data mining.Strong ability to troubleshoot issues, identifying root causes and support development team in development of resolutions.Key Qualifications:High level of attention to detail.Analytical and Critical Thinking.Working knowledge of quality assurance/quality management best practices.Ability to push the envelope and evolve QA practice.Good character and a great attitude.Comfortable wearing many hats and can function well in a fast-paced company environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to quickly learn and understand business processes.What We Offer:A challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic company.Ongoing opportunities for professional growth and development.A collaborative and supportive work environment.A competitive compensation package.
