The Role: Manager – Design USThis position is responsible for overseeing the entire design and creative output of our organization.The successful candidate will ensure that all design and creative deliverables are aligned with client expectations and completed within specified timeframes.Key Responsibilities:● Develop and implement layout plans, concept designs for interior fit-outs of commercial & residential spaces within defined timelines.● Manage a team of Interior Designers and 3D Visualizers to deliver drawings and designs as per client requirements and budget constraints.● Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, engage them throughout the project lifecycle, and ensure seamless execution from start to finish.● Work in conjunction with internal procurement teams and site execution teams to guarantee smooth project functioning.● Select materials finishes for use/application, obtain client approval, and oversee various schedules for projects like furniture, general & decorative light fixtures, carpets, etc.● Coordinate with Graphic Designers for creation of wallpaper designs & other graphic design elements as per client feedback.● Possess knowledge of working drawings/technical drawings and coordinate same at site for effective execution.Required Skills and Qualifications:● Minimum 4 years of experience in designing corporate & residential spaces; knowledge about interior elements and building structure.● Strong design sense.● Familiarity with design codes followed in different states of the USA.● Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet daily, weekly, and long-term requirements and goals.● Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs, leading teams on high-profile projects.● Excellent interpersonal skills; strong, persuasive communicator with excellent verbal presentation skills and ability to communicate design concepts to clients.● Process-oriented, ambitious out-of-the-box approach with ability to motivate team members.● Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.● Comprehensive knowledge of materials, costing, GFC details.● Understanding of client engagement.● Understanding of technical drawings.● Multi-tasking ability.Preferred Skills:o Drafting skills – proficient in Autocad.o Quantity Assessment – proficient in MS Excel.o Photoshop, Sketchup / 3DS-Max.o Design conceptualization writing.o Project pitch presentations.Benefits:● Competitive salary package.● Opportunities for career growth and professional development.Others:● Attention to detail.● Team management.
