Union Payroll SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Union Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for managing and processing union worker payrolls in compliance with California regulations and agreements.Key Responsibilities:Process payroll for union workers, ensuring timely and accurate payment of wages and benefits.Track and calculate union benefits, pension contributions, health insurance, and other deductions.Ensure adherence to prevailing wage laws, certified payroll reporting (Davis-Bacon Act), and California union labor laws.Manage accounts payable and receivable related to labor costs and track payments to workers and benefits providers.Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in payroll-related accounts.Maintain payroll records, generate reports, and assist in audits related to union labor costs.Utilize QuickBooks, Yardi, or payroll software for accurate record-keeping and reporting.Why Choose This Opportunity?Work with a dynamic real estate and construction team supporting union workers in California.Competitive compensation and long-term remote opportunity.Gain experience in union payroll accounting for a growing construction subcontractor.A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, along with 5+ years of experience in union payroll accounting preferably for construction subcontractors in California.
