Location :- Coimbatore
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Imports Executive to manage and coordinate import activities for our plastics manufacturing and recycling company. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective importation of raw materials and products, while complying with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and manage all import activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of raw materials and products.
· Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate import processes.
· Prepare and review import documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
· Ensure compliance with all import regulations and company policies.
· Maintain accurate records of all import transactions.
· Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely customs clearance of shipments.
· Resolve any issues or delays in customs clearance processes.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
· Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery schedules.Monitor and control import costs to ensure cost-effective import operations.
· Prepare and analyze cost reports related to import activities.
· Work closely with the inventory management team to ensure adequate stock levels of imported materials.
· Monitor and forecast inventory needs based on production schedules.
· Identify and mitigate risks related to import activities, including changes in regulations, supply chain disruptions, and geopolitical factors.
· Prepare regular reports on import activities, including status updates, cost analysis, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as an Imports Executive or in a similar role, preferably in the plastics manufacturing or recycling industry.
· Strong knowledge of import regulations, documentation, and customs procedures.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office and import management software.

· Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Strong problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
· Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
Salary Package: CTC - 3 lac - 4 lac p.a
