Sustainability Analyst

Energy Modeller PositionWe are seeking a skilled Energy Modeller to support our sustainability consultancy in Dubai. The role involves developing energy simulations, performing technical analyses, and supporting project teams in achieving compliance with sustainability and energy performance requirements.The Energy Modeller will work on green building certifications (LEED, WELL, Estidama, DGBC, etc.) and other energy efficiency projects. Key responsibilities include:Developing building energy simulation models using recognized software such as eQuest, Design Builder, IES VE, etc.Supporting LEED, Estidama, DGBC, and other green building certifications by preparing required documentation, calculations, and simulation reports.Assisting in reviewing architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings to extract inputs for energy modelling and system analysis.Conducting baseline and proposed case simulations in accordance with ASHRAE 90.1 and relevant standards.Analysing simulation results to identify energy conservation measures and optimisation opportunities.Supporting the preparation of energy and water efficiency reports, feasibility studies, and carbon reduction analyses.Collaborating with design teams to provide recommendations on passive design strategies, HVAC system optimisation, and renewable energy integration.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Energy Engineering, or related disciplines, with prior experience in energy modelling, building simulation, or sustainable design.
