Chief Financial Planning Analyst

Job OverviewThis role combines administration and technical leadership in financial planning and analysis, leveraging expertise in Oracle FCCS and Workday Adaptive Planning.Main Responsibilities:Configure Adaptive models, sheets, dimensions, and attributes to support financial forecasting and planning.Manage data integration with ERP/EDW systems, ensuring seamless data flow and minimizing errors.Design, configure, and maintain dimensions/levels, modeled & cube sheets, attributes, versions, and assumptions to facilitate accurate financial reporting.Own mapping tables, transformations, and reconciliation controls; troubleshoot and resolve load exceptions in a timely manner.Build advanced formulas (lookup, allocation, driver-based) and maintain alternate reporting hierarchies to provide stakeholders with actionable insights.Develop and Support HTML and Office Connect reports and dashboards to enhance business decision-making.Manage role-based security, access reviews, governance, and compliance across Adaptive, ensuring the highest level of data integrity.Coordinate with IT/EDW on schema changes, performance, and data lineage; document interfaces and SLAs to ensure seamless collaboration.Orchestrate forecast/commit cycles (calendar or fiscal); manage versions, locks, and workflow to meet business requirements.Drive tie-outs to FCCS and legacy Essbase reports; investigate mapping deltas and timing differences to optimize financial planning processes.Create/maintain playbooks, SOPs, and cutover checklists; lead user enablement and office hours to enhance team productivity.Provide training, documentation, and Tier-2/3 support to ensure successful implementation and adoption of financial planning solutions.FCCS Responsibilities:Maintain FCCS metadata, hierarchies, security roles, and consolidation rules to ensure accurate financial reporting.Oversee close cycles; validate data loads; troubleshoot variances to identify areas for process improvement.Configure Data Management workflows and mappings to streamline financial planning processes.Develop Smart View reports and support statutory reporting to meet regulatory requirements.Automate tasks using EPM Automate and REST APIs to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems.At least 7 years' experience with Adaptive Planning config & Administration & FCCS/Hyperion Administration.Strong understanding of financial consolidation and planning principles.Hands-on experience with integrations, automation, and reporting tools to drive business success.
