Bengaluru.Position Title: Manager, Stores TechnologyDescription:Primary responsibility of this leader is to lead an engineering team in our Stores Technology space, primarily focused on stores omni-fulfillment and merchandising applications, integrations, and services. Work cross-functionally with stores, digital, and omni-channel teams to execute and deliver on key initiatives such as the RFID strategy and ERP modernization. This leader should have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment on challenging projects. We expect this individual to have a strong balance of technical and business acumen to translate the business needs into technical solutions.This manager of stores technology will partner closely with our many cross functional teams to deliver the best digital and store customer experience. This individual should bring a high level of industry and platform expertise to offer best practices and support new ways of working for our teams. Experience hiring, onboarding, and building high-performing teams.What Will You Be Doing?Lead a team of 6-10 engineersPartner with stores, digital, and omni-channel teams to define objectives and prioritiesBuild and execute new features and capabilities while advancing technical roadmapCoach, mentor and drive engineering advocacy and efficiencyDrive a vision towards CI/CD and automationSupport transition to full autonomous teams through development CI/CD pipelines and building test automation into the pipelinesSupport investigation and analysis of developer toolsets, development standardsSupport Customer Journey Evolution, sizing, defining the work and roadmap to deliverMonitor and measure the health of team, code base, and progress towards vision stateWork with other engineering managers to share best practices and promote continuous improvementAssist during the budgeting and planning processWhat Do You Need To Bring?9-12 years of experience in the software engineering space: implementing software platforms/solutions, and extensive experience with services, integrations, and web applicationsDemonstrated expertise in Agile MethodologyDemonstrated experience and expertise in CI/CD developmentAdvocate for test driven development and automationExperience managing teams of 6-12 (mix of FTE and consulting)Experience with Global retail brands and knowledge of omnichannel concepts desiredPassion for solving complex problemsStrong analytical skillsProven track record of hiring, onboarding, and upskillingExperience with omni-channel fulfillment concepts and technology helpfulExperience with core technologies such as Java, Spring, Kafka, Web Services, OCP, Azure is desiredStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening skillsMust be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyAttention to detail and flexibility in work assignmentsAbility to work in a team-orientated, collaborative, and cross-functional environment
