Hyly.AI is building the first AI + Data Fabric for the multifamily industry.This role plays a key part in strengthening our infrastructure reliability, database performance, and disaster recovery capabilities as we continue scaling our secure, cloud-native platform.Design, automate, and test backup and disaster recovery strategies for large-scale databases and production systems.Manage and optimize MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis databases for performance, scalability, and reliability.Execute database version upgrades, schema migrations, and data integrity validations with minimal downtime.Key Responsibilities:Implement ISO 27001:2022-aligned data protection controls including encryption, masking, and retention policies.Establish and automate RTO/RPO validation and recovery testing in collaboration with DevSecOps and Compliance teams.Build automation for backup validation and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible, or cloud-native pipelines.Requirements:A technically strong DevOps engineer with deep experience managing and securing large-scale databases.Hands-on with MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis in production environments, including upgrades and migrations.Experienced in designing and executing disaster recovery and backup strategies for critical systems.As a Senior DevOps & Database Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our database systems.
