Job DescriptionThe role of Backend Developer is a critical component of our technology team, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of server-side logic, APIs, and database architecture. This cloud-native SaaS application employs PHP for backend development with MariaDB databases, deployed in containerized Docker environments on AWS infrastructure.As a key member of our tech team, you will work closely with frontend developers and functional scrum units to create scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for risk management and compliance workflows. Your expertise will be instrumental in building and maintaining RESTful APIs to support frontend Angular applications and third-party integrations.Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, including MFA, SSO via SAML, and role-based access controls. You will also work with Docker containerized environments and maintain application deployment processes to optimize application performance, database queries, and server-side logic for scalability.Required Skills and QualificationsWe are looking for individuals who possess the initiative and ability to:You should have a deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and SOLID principles.
