Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design and implement a scalable, centralized data management solution leveraging the capabilities of Azure. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Azure SQL, including schema design, indexing, performance tuning, and bulk load operations.The engineer will be responsible for validating architecture decisions and delivering a robust data model, ingestion APIs, and weekly batch ETL pipelines.Azure SQL Expertise: Strong understanding of schema design principles, indexing strategies, and performance optimization techniques.Azure Functions Experience: Hands-on experience with Azure Functions for ETL workloads, ensuring efficient data processing and pipeline execution.REST API Development: Proficiency in REST API development using Azure App Service and .NET, enabling seamless integration with various systems.Microsoft Fabric Knowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture, to design and implement scalable data solutions.Key Qualifications Include:ETL/ELT Patterns Expertise: Strong understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, batch ingestion, and delta processing techniques.Data Modeling: Experience designing data models for multi-source systems, ensuring data consistency and integrity.Power BI Integration: Knowledge of Power BI integration with Azure SQL, facilitating data visualization and business insights.
