Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect Experience: 3+ Years Location: Remote Job Description We are looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Architect with strong hands-on experience designing, optimizing, and scaling cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should have deep technical knowledge of Azure services, performance engineering, distributed systems, and modern .NET architecture. Key Responsibilities Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on Azure. Optimize Azure Functions , including cold start mitigation, scaling behaviors, and Durable Functions workflows. Improve performance and reliability of Azure SQL through query tuning, indexing strategies, and resource optimization. Implement and manage Azure Service Bus , Event Grid , and event-driven architectures. Configure and optimize Redis Cache and SignalR for real-time application performance. Build distributed tracing and observability using Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, and Azure Monitor. Apply advanced performance engineering for .NET 8+ , EF Core, and asynchronous patterns. Lead architectural decisions for event-driven, asynchronous, and microservices-based systems. Must-Have Skills Azure Functions (Performance, Cold Starts, Durable Functions) Azure SQL (Query Optimization, Indexing, Execution Plans) Azure Service Bus / Event Grid Redis Cache, SignalR optimization Distributed tracing & observability (App Insights, OpenTelemetry) .NET 8+, EF Core performance tuning Event-driven architecture & async patterns Good to Have Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Terraform / Bicep (IaC) CI/CD with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
