This role requires aseasoned engineering leader with deep technical expertise, proven experience in solutionarchitecture, and a track record of successfully delivering complex software products toproduction at scale.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Leadership:● Define and execute the technical roadmap for our SaaS platform● Lead cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, and businessteams● Drive architectural decisions and technology choices that align with businessobjectives● Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and developmentmethodologies● Build and scale high-performing engineering teamsTechnical Excellence:● Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainablesoftware solutions● Ensure robust system architecture that can handle growing user demands● Lead technical reviews and guide complex engineering challenges● Drive adoption of modern development practices, including CI/CD, automatedtesting, and DevOpsProduct Development:● Manage multiple production rollouts and ensure the successful delivery of features● Collaborate with product management to translate business requirements intotechnical solutions● Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from conception to deployment● Ensure high-quality deliverables that meet performance, security, and scalabilityrequirementsTeam Management:● Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent● Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning● Conduct performance reviews and provide career development guidance● Promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence across the teamREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSolution Architecture Experience:● Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role● Proven ability to design end-to-end solutions for complex business problems● Experience with system integration, data modeling, and enterprise architecturepatterns● Strong understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and securityconsiderations● Deep expertise in Java programming with 8+ years of hands-on developmentexperience● Strong proficiency in Python with demonstrated experience in building productionsystems● Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and softwarearchitecture principles● Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systemsCertification Requirement:● AWS Solution Architect certification is MANDATORY (should be within a year)Leadership &Management:● 5+ years of engineering management experience● Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams● Experience managing teams of 15+ engineers across multiple projects● Strong project management and delivery execution skillsTECHNICAL SKILLS SUMMARYProgramming Languages:● Java (Expert level - 8+ years)● Python (Advanced level - 5+ years)● Additional languages (JavaScript, Go, Scala) - Preferred Frameworks & Technologies:● Spring Boot, Spring Framework● Django, Flask, FastAPI● React, Angular (for full-stack understanding)● AWS SQS, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ● Redis, ElasticsearchDatabases:● Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)● NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra)DevOps & Tools:● CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)● Version control (Git, GitLab, GitHub)● Monitoring (CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic)● Testing frameworks (JUnit, pytest, Selenium)Cloud Technologies (Mandatory):● Strong fluency with AWS Managed Services, including but not limited to:● EC2, ECS, EKS for compute and container orchestration● RDS, MongoDB for data storage and caching● Lambda for serverless computing● API Gateway, CloudFront, and Load Balancers● S3 for object storage● CloudWatch, CloudTrail for monitoring and logging● IAM for security and access management● VPC, Security Groups for network configurationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS● Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technicalfield● Experience in SaaS/PaaS product development● Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)● Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)● Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)● Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)● Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment● Additional cloud certifications (AWS DevOps, Azure Solutions Architect, GCPProfessional Cloud Architect)
