We are seeking a dynamic and creative faculty member with expertise in content creation, copywriting, and cross-platform storytelling. The faculty will train students to ideate, develop, and adapt content for multiple media platforms – newspaper, print campaigns, broadcast, and digital/social media. The focus will be on teaching students how to choose the right narrative, shape messaging styles, and evaluate the impact of content on different audiences.
This faculty member will help students master the art of producing content that not only informs but also engages and persuades, ensuring desired responses from their target viewership.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Training
- Teach fundamentals of content ideation, writing, and adaptation across platforms (print, digital, broadcast, social media).
- Guide students in storyboarding, scripting, and narrative building for campaigns and news features.
- Demonstrate how a single piece of content can be repurposed effectively across newspapers, print ads, websites, and social media posts.
- Train students to evaluate the impact of different writing styles, tones, and formats on audience perception.
- Introduce students to the psychology of messaging – how narratives influence engagement, trust, and recall.
- Curriculum Development
- Develop practical assignments and projects that involve multi-platform content adaptation.
- Create case studies showcasing successful content campaigns in journalism, PR, and digital marketing.
- Mentorship
- Coach students in producing content portfolios that demonstrate versatility and creativity.
- Help students develop the ability to craft content strategies aligned with brand goals or editorial needs.
Desired Skills & Expertise
- Strong background in journalism, content writing, advertising, or digital storytelling.
- Proficiency in adapting narratives for print (articles, headlines, campaigns), digital (blogs, social posts, infographics), and broadcast (scripts, captions).
- Deep understanding of audience psychology, media consumption patterns, and response-driven content.
- Hands-on knowledge of social media tools, SEO basics, and platform-specific trends.
- Ability to inspire creativity while teaching clarity, conciseness, and impact in content creation.
