Business Intelligence EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to design, implement and maintain large-scale data platforms. This includes defining the overall architecture strategy, developing frameworks for data ingestion, transformation and orchestration, as well as ensuring scalability, reliability and performance of our data pipelines.Data Architecture Strategy: Define and execute the enterprise data architecture strategy in alignment with business goals and future growth needs.Cloud Platforms: Architect, design and implement Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Lakehouses on cloud platforms.Modernization: Lead modernization of data platforms using technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), cloud storage, and related ecosystem services.Data Pipelines: Design and implement robust batch and streaming data pipelines using frameworks such as Apache Spark, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance and data integrity.Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance, metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage and quality standards across the data ecosystem.Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders, analytics/BI teams, data engineers and data scientists to understand requirements and deliver data solutions aligned with enterprise needs.As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, mentoring data engineering teams and driving best practices to ensure maintainability of the data platform.You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and industry trends, recommending and adopting improvements to continuously evolve the data platform.Required Skills and QualificationsTechnical Expertise: Strong knowledge of data architectures, big data technologies, cloud computing, and data engineering principles.Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor junior engineers and drive best practices.Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.BenefitsThis role offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.OthersThis is a full-time position based in our headquarters location.
