Senior Snowflake Developer

What you’ll do:Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake databases and data warehouse solutions.Build and optimize SQL queries for data processing and reporting.Experience with Snowflake tools such as Snowpipe, Time Travel, and Cloning.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data models and pipelines.Ensure data security, quality, and compliance in Snowflake environments.Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake and SQL systems for performance issues.Collaborate with stakeholders to finalize the scope of enhancements and development projects, gather detailed requirementsProvide expertise as a technical resource to solve complex business issues that translate into data integration and database systems designsMigrate and modernize existing legacy ETL jobs for Snowflake, ensure data integrity and optimal performanceDevelop and implement a configuration-driven Data Ingestion framework that enables efficient onboarding of new source tablesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and solution architects, to align data engineering initiatives with business goalsDrive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance data engineering processes, tools, and frameworksEnsure compliance with data quality, security, and privacy standards across all data engineering activitiesWhat we seek in you:Minimum of 5+ years of related experienceBachelors degree preferred or equivalent experienceExpertise in Snowflake DB and its various architecture principles, capabilitiesExperience with data warehousing, data architecture, ETL data pipeline and/or data engineering environments at enterprise scale that are built on SnowflakeAbility to create Strong SQL Procedures in Snowflake, Build a Data Pipeline efficiently in a cost-optimizing & performance efficient wayStrong experience with AWS CloudProficient understanding of code versioning tools - Git, Mercurial, SVNKnowledge of SDLC, Testing & CI/CD aspects such as Jenkins, JIRAFosters a culture where integrity and transparency are encouraged.Stays ahead of on changes in their own specialist area and seeks out learning opportunities to ensure knowledge is up-to-date.Invests in effort to individually coach others.Build collaborative teams across the organization.Communicates openly keeping everyone across the organization advised.Life at Next:At our core, we're driven by the mission of tailoring growth for our customers by enabling them to transform their aspirations into tangible outcomes.
