We are seeking an accomplished technology leader to oversee and drive a high-performing engineering team within our rapidly growing organization. This role is perfect for leaders who excel in fast-paced environments, enjoy developing people and systems, and want to help shape our product and engineering strategy.Oversee a team of software engineers across multiple product areas, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure team growth and success.Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and high performance among the team members.Conduct regular meetings, performance evaluations, and engineer development plans to support individual growth.Identify hiring needs, partner with the HR department, and drive the technical hiring process to build a strong and diverse team.Guide architectural and technical decisions for scalable, resilient, and sustainable solutions that align with the company's goals.Oversee end-to-end engineering project delivery, ensuring quality and predictability throughout the process.Maintain high engineering standards around code quality, testing, and documentation to ensure consistency and excellence.Champion best practices in CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, and incident management to improve team efficiency and productivity.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define roadmaps and align priorities, driving business outcomes through technology leadership.Translate complex product requirements into actionable technical plans that meet business objectives.Communicate project progress, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on project status.Implement processes that scale with the team and organizational growth, ensuring agility and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.Anticipate and resolve technical or organizational bottlenecks, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the team.Qualifications & ExperienceA minimum of 7 years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of leadership and technical expertise.2–5+ years of experience leading engineering teams as an Engineering Manager or equivalent, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies and efficient product delivery practices.Proven experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments, with a strong ability to balance technical depth with leadership and communication skills.Strong expertise in modern web technologies, cloud infrastructure, and scalable architectures, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing technical solutions.Demonstrated success in hiring, coaching, and developing engineering teams, with a strong ability to foster a culture of ownership and accountability.Able to operate strategically and tactically, with a strong understanding of business objectives and technical challenges.Preferred SkillsExperience managing remote or hybrid engineering teams, with a strong ability to communicate effectively and build trust.Exposure to startups that have scaled rapidly, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with rapid growth.Familiarity with data platforms, AI/ML, or mobile applications, with a strong ability to adapt and learn new technologies.Strong product mindset and a focus on customer-centric solutions, with a strong ability to prioritize and deliver results.
