Cloud Database AdministratorWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud-based databases.Your primary focus will be on managing and administering SQL Server databases on Azure, ensuring high availability, cost-efficiency, and data integrity.Design, implement, and maintain database architecture and infrastructure on Azure.Configure and manage SQL Server databases, including security settings, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.Optimize database performance, query tuning, and indexing strategies.Develop and implement robust security policies and access controls.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless database integration with applications and services.Migrate databases from on-premises environments to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.To succeed in this role, you will need:A minimum of 10 years of experience as a senior database administrator, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server management.Strong expertise in T-SQL, backup/recovery, replication, indexing, and security configurations.Proven track record of successful database migrations from on-premises environments to cloud-based platforms.Familiarity with Azure services, such as Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Automation.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
