Job Summary:


The Project Manager will oversee and manage government projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contracting, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work effectively with governmental agencies and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget. Ensure timely and successful completion of projects in accordance with contract requirements and government regulations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and government clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government officials and contractors.
  • Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with government regulations, standards, and contractual obligations. Stay updated on relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage project resources, including team members, budget, and materials. Optimize resource utilization to achieve project objectives.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to internal teams and government stakeholders. Document and communicate project milestones, deliverables, and changes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure project goals are achieved.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience managing government projects. Proven experience in handling government contracts, compliance, and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances if required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
