Work Model:
This role will be predominantly remote, but may require occasional regional and international travel. You will also work across time zones as necessary.
About the Role:
FPC Global is a leading provider of innovative business solutions and project execution services, operating under three key pillars: FPC Global, FPC Digital, and FPC Life Sciences.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will offer technical consulting and project management expertise in Digital Building technologies, applications, processes, and standards for FPC and its clients. As part of the FPC Digital Building Services Group, you will oversee project delivery and services, ensuring that client needs are met in alignment with the Scope of Work (SoW) specified in the Agreement, Proposal, or Engagement Letter between FPC and its clients.
The responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee program and project management according to the Scope of Work (SoW), ensuring timely, on-budget, and scope-aligned project delivery to meet client requirements.
- Lead a team of Technical Project Coordinators and/or Digital Building Consultants to achieve efficient, effective project execution.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and business goals, working proactively to fulfill and deliver on these objectives.
- Provide management, support, and guidance on service and solution delivery for Digital Building system integration, technologies, initiatives, processes, and standards.
- Manage the deployment of Digital Building systems and architectures, developing RFPs and producing necessary technical and project-related reports.
- Review Digital Building system architectures and designs, identifying issues and recommending improvements.
- Identify potential business development and revenue opportunities for the FPC business line.
About You:
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Controls, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in IoT solutions, systems integration, and related technologies.
- Strong skills in project reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, including participation in project, client, and team meetings, along with strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Knowledge or certification in RIBA Stages of Work, construction projects, and contracting.
- Technical expertise in designing, developing, and implementing Digital Building Systems Integration.
- Experience in managing and tracking projects through delivery, from design to handover.
Additional desirable experience or qualifications in IoT systems design, delivery, and operation, including:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google, Microsoft, Amazon) and data analytics
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, BIM, or Visio
- Knowledge of systems testing, commissioning, Fault Detection and Diagnostics (FDD), and automated commissioning systems
