Visual Director Job DescriptionLead the visual direction for a direct-to-consumer brand, overseeing a team of creatives to develop captivating visuals that drive business results.About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Visual Director to lead our creative vision and strategy. As the primary contact for all things visual, you will be responsible for articulating and executing the brand's visual identity across all touchpoints.Develop and maintain the brand's visual language, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and requirements.Brainstorm and develop innovative concepts, storyboards, and mood boards to communicate the creative vision.Responsibilities:Creative Vision and Strategy: Develop and articulate the creative vision and direction for the brand. Translate objectives into compelling visual concepts and strategies. Stay updated with current industry trends and creative techniques. Ensure that the team's creative work aligns with the brand and meets requirements.Team Leadership and Management: Lead and inspire a team of experienced creative professionals, including videographers, 3D artists, and designers. Provide clear creative direction and guidelines to the team members. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient workflow. Conduct regular team meetings and reviews to monitor progress and provide feedback. Develop the skills and talents of the team through mentorship and training opportunities.Project Conceptualization and Development: Collaborate with various internal teams (production, e-comm, performance marketing) to understand project objectives and requirements. Brainstorm creative concepts and ideas. Develop storyboards, mood boards, and other visual references to communicate the creative vision. Articulate and sell creative concepts to the various internal teams. Ensure that the creative concepts align with business goals and brand identity.Quality Control and Creative Execution: Oversee the execution of creative concepts throughout the production process. Provide artistic and technical guidance to the team. Review and approve final materials, ensuring high quality and adherence to the creative vision. Ensure consistent and impactful visual outcomes. Monitor project progress, ensuring that deadlines and client expectations are met. Conduct quality control checks to maintain the team's creative standards.Creative Branding and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and maintain the brand's creative branding and identity. Ensure consistency in the brand's visual assets, including its website, portfolio, and promotional materials. Contribute to marketing campaigns by providing creative insights and concepts.Collaterals: Responsible for art direction of digital static and video content, social media content, web UI, static & video ads, photoshoots, packaging, inserts, etc.Requirements:Strong skills in visual strategy, team management, and execution.Experience in managing designers, shoots, and creative direction.Good knowledge of the beauty, fitness, and personal care industry and trends.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Strong organizational and time management skills.Benefits:Report directly to Founders.A highly experimental environment where you can put your visual storytelling skills to the test.Working with a super talented team in a super-fast-growing company.Working on multiple categories – oral care, massage, hair styling, and grooming, etc.
