Job Title: Head of Research – EquityLocation: MumbaiDepartment: Institutional EquitiesRole Summary:We are hiring a dynamic professional to lead our Equity Research team. The ideal candidate will manage sector analysts, oversee research output, and ensure high-quality investment ideas are delivered to clients. This role combines team leadership, market expertise, and strategic thinking.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the equity research team across multiple sectors- Oversee research reports, idea generation, and client-ready output- Ensure timely and insightful coverage of companies and sectors- Coordinate closely with sales and trading teams to align research flow- Guide analysts on sector trends, earnings forecasts, and valuations- Represent the research team in client interactions and industry events- Maintain high research standards and regulatory complianceWhat We're Looking For:- MBA (Finance), CA, or CFA preferred- 10–15 years of equity research experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role- Deep understanding of equity markets and sector analysis- Strong communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills- Experience in interacting with institutional clients
