Job Title: Head of Research – Equity

Role Summary:

We are hiring a dynamic professional to lead our Equity Research team. The ideal candidate will manage sector analysts, oversee research output, and ensure high-quality investment ideas are delivered to clients. This role combines team leadership, market expertise, and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the equity research team across multiple sectors
  • Oversee research reports, idea generation, and client-ready output
  • Ensure timely and insightful coverage of companies and sectors
  • Coordinate closely with sales and trading teams to align research flow
  • Guide analysts on sector trends, earnings forecasts, and valuations
  • Represent the research team in client interactions and industry events
  • Maintain high research standards and regulatory compliance

What We're Looking For:

  • MBA (Finance), CA, or CFA preferred
  • 10–15 years of equity research experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
  • Deep understanding of equity markets and sector analysis
  • Strong communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in interacting with institutional clients
