Job Title: Embedded Engineer
Department: Product Development
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Embedded Engineer at Ripple Healthcare. The Senior Embedded Engineer will be responsible for embedded software programming, debugging, software development, and working with Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The role requires strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate with a team to develop innovative solutions for improving the lives of the elderly.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
At least 4 years of experience in electronics hardware and software design and development.
Proven track record of successful project completion from concept to production.
Proficiency in embedded software programming and software development
Experience with debugging and troubleshooting in embedded systems
Knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and applications
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience with medical device development is a plus
Responsibilities
Work with microcontrollers/microprocessors ranging from 8, 16, and 32-bit architectures.
Develop application code that performs data acquisition, event processing, data management, and communication functions.
Possess experience in working with IoT devices, BLE, GSM, GPS and their associated hardware/software requirements.
Engage in all aspects of project development, from system-level design and requirements analysis to hardware development, code development, and testing.
Develop embedded designs ranging from high-level application development to low-level hardware device drivers.
Collaborate with the design, mechanical, and other teams to design products that meet functional and performance requirements.
Analyze embedded code to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
Develop systems using real-time embedded operating systems (RTOS).
