Role Overview:


As a Senior Content Writer, you will take ownership of creating engaging, high-quality content that drives awareness, educates prospects, and supports our SaaS product marketing goals. You will work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to translate complex product features into benefits-focused narratives, building a strong connection between our software solutions and our target audience.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Content Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement a content strategy tailored for SaaS audiences, focusing on product features, use cases, and customer success stories.
  • Create content plans for blog posts, website pages, email campaigns, whitepapers, case studies, and more.


  • Content Creation:
  • Write compelling, benefit-driven content that showcases Illumine’s value proposition as a leading SaaS platform.
  • Translate technical product details into engaging narratives that resonate with childcare professionals and decision-makers.
  • Craft content for various stages of the buyer’s journey, including awareness, consideration, and decision phases.


  • SEO and Analytics:
  • Conduct keyword research to optimize content for organic traffic.
  • Track content performance metrics and leverage insights to improve future efforts.


  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the product team to deeply understand our software’s features and benefits.
  • Partner with marketing and design teams to align content with broader campaigns and visual assets.


  • Brand and Tone Consistency:
  • Ensure a consistent brand voice across all channels, reflecting Illumine’s innovative and customer-centric ethos.


Qualifications:


  • Experience:
  • 2+ years of professional content writing experience, ideally in a SaaS or product-based software company.
  • Proven track record of creating high-quality content for SaaS audiences.


  • Skills:
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS product positioning, benefits communication, and customer pain points.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practices, keyword research, and content optimization.
