Job TitleWe are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's infrastructure.About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong understanding of cyber security principles and practices. You will be responsible for implementing robust security controls, monitoring systems for potential threats, and coordinating incident response efforts with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Safeguarding infrastructure by implementing and maintaining robust security controls.Monitoring Darktrace, SIEM, and other SOC tools to detect and respond to potential threats in real time.Investigating security incidents and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective resolution.Supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of security policies and procedures.Contributing to compliance reporting, audit preparation, and maintenance of all related documentation, including risk registers and incident logs.Collaborating with the IT Operations team to strengthen access controls, endpoint protection, and data security measures.Partnering with the Engineering team to secure cloud infrastructure and applications using tools such as CSPM, DAST, SAST, IAST, and SCA.Identifying and assessing vulnerabilities or misconfigurations, and ensuring timely escalation for remediation.Escalating high-risk issues and potential breaches to the Technical Architect.Coordinating with the IT Operations Lead on endpoint management and access-related controls.Working closely with leadership when incidents require strategic or business-level decisions.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of cyber security principles and practices.Skills: Proficiency in security protocols and standards, experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, and knowledge of cloud security best practices.Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM certifications preferred.BenefitsThis is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package, including:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceRetirement planPaid time offHow to ApplyTo apply for this position, please submit your resume and cover letter via email.
