The Senior Business Analyst will join the ServiceNow Stakeholder Engagement team. In this role you will partner with individuals across the organization, at various levels, including divisional business teams, product owners, IT teams and ServiceNow team members (Service Delivery and Operations teams) to facilitate user story gathering and design sessions, and collaboratively define solutions that address key opportunities.

What you will do:

Partner with business stakeholders to obtain, analyze and document well-structured business use cases

Facilitate user story gathering and design sessions with stakeholders, and collaboratively define solutions that address key opportunities

Responsible for understanding ServiceNow, business processes and opportunities in the context of ServiceNow and business requirements and able to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve is goals

Formulate and define project scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and business objectives

Work with delivery and operations teams to prioritize and translate user requirements into clear technical requirements

Collaborate with divisional stakeholders and engineering teams to outline robust user acceptance criteria, execute test plans and document test results

  • Communicate priorities and timeline with business stakeholders
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing, as needed
  • Continually identify and execute process improvements

Develop reports for management on SLAs/KPIs as they pertain to stakeholder engagement team

Train junior members of the team on subject matter expertise to ensure continuous learning

Partner with external vendors, business teams and procurement/legal teams on pre-project onboarding, including reviewing SOWs, change orders and ensuring project costs are clear and understood


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of professional experience; or no degree and 9 years combined education and equivalent work experience.

ServiceNow CSA

ServiceNow business analyst or project experience with CSM

2 years’ experience working as a business analyst or equivalent

Experience with Agile development processes

Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent verbal and written communication skills that drive collaboration with both business and technical partners

  • Ability to effectively communicate with and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions

Strong conceptual, and analytical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable tasks that technical teams can subsequently execute

  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude, with a passion for driving innovation and excellence


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Some amount of familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices
  • ServiceNow business analyst/project experience with ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SPM and NowAssist
