Java Backend Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend systems using Java, APIs (REST and GraphQL), and Spring Boot. They will also develop and maintain microservices that communicate seamlessly through well-designed APIs.Main Responsibilities:Backend Services Development: Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot 3+API Development: Building new APIs (REST and GraphQL) to replace legacy system components and power modern internal toolsDatabase Management: Working with relational databases including PostgreSQL and OR SpannerDeployment and Operations: Deploying and operating services on GCP with exposure to Kubernetes (nice to have)Security and Authentication: Implementing secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0 and other identity protocolsObservability and Monitoring: Using observability and monitoring tools such as New RelicAbout the Role:This is an excellent opportunity for a talented engineer to take on a challenging role and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge technology platforms.
