Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Build a resilient supply chain for the Automotive Division through Long term Capacity planning and mapping:a. Capacity assessment & planning for existing supply chain parts based on 3 years LTP-Action Planning for Capacity Shortfall mitigation for ongoing & new projects- Knowledge of automotive Electrical & Electronics products such as lamps, switches, sensors, wiring harness, infotainment, controllers, ECUs, audio system, ADAS etc. -Exposure on several processes such as injection moulding, SMT, assembly of E&E parts, software development etc.-Enabling capacity creation at supplier end to meet the requirements through partnering with PD, SSU, CDMM, SCM, SQE & suppliers-Ensure kick-off part development with close monitoring till Capacity creation, SOP & Handoverb. SSU / SCM / SQE vulnerable supplier alternativesc. New projects C/O parts capacity mapping (across Platforms cross commodities)Drive Short term Capacity Planning & supply chain challenges mitigation:a. Identification of short-term challenges with Supply chainb. Capacity enhancement on current partsc. Quality related supplies issues (alternate sourcing / FTG corrections with current suppliers)d. Ensure kick-off part development with close monitoring till SOPSupply chain management understanding & exposureCommercial acumen,Capacity assessment techniquesProblem solving techniques.Root cause analysisProduct development through APQP, M&M requirements, MPDS process.Conducting PTR, PPAP, MSA, SPC at Supplier place Preferred Industries Automobile Farm Sector Education Qualification B Tech / BE (preferrably Mechanical Engineering) General Experience 5 to 7 yrs experience Critical Experience System Generated Core Skills Analytical Thinking Communication Skills Influencing Skills Project Planning & Execution Risk Analysis Supplier Selection Pricing Price Optimization Supplier Risk Management Sourcing Strategic Sourcing Benchmarking System Generated Secondary Skills Negotiation Project Management Supplier Management
