Key Responsibilities: 1. Logistics Planning& Coordination: Develop and implement logistics strategiesand procedures to ensure efficient operations. Plan and coordinatetransportation and distribution activities to meet customerrequirements and company objectives. Allocate Daily milk runs andregular courier shipment on a daily basis . Deliver On time to Spec(OTTS).
2.Supplier & Vendor Management: Establish and maintainrelationships with suppliers carriers and other logistics partners.Evaluate New vendors /Negotiate contracts and agreements to securefavorable terms and ensure quality service. Manage Large deliveriesand coordinate vendor end to end supplies.
3.Warehouse Management: Oversee warehouse operations includinginventory management order fulfillment and storage. Ensurecompliance with safety regulations and proper handling ofgoods.
4.Process Optimization: Analyze and improve logistics processes toenhance efficiency reduce costs and increase productivity.Implement technology solutions and best practices to streamlineoperations.
5.Budget Management: Develop and manage logistics budgets includingtransportation warehousing and labor costs. Monitor and controlexpenses to stay within budgetary constraints.
6.Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performanceindicators (KPIs) related to logistics and supply chainperformance. Prepare reports and provide insights to seniormanagement on logistics operations andperformance.
7. Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction bymeeting delivery deadlines and resolving any issues that arise.Address and manage customer inquiries complaints and requestsrelated to logistics.
8. TeamManagement: Supervise and mentor logistics staff including hiringtraining and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative andproductive work environment.
9.Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance withindustry regulations company policies and international traderequirements. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated withlogisticsoperations.
