Dogs of Steadfast is a sub division in the Steadfast Consortium comprising of 10+ security dogs being trained to detect, guard and protect premises.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Animal Handler at Dogs of Steadfast located in Noida. The role involves daily care, feeding, grooming, and training of animals, ensuring their well-being and following safety protocols. This role involves management of staff of care takers who are responsible for the wellbeing of the animals. It also involves regular visits to vets and groomers for routine checkup and maintenance of health records not limited to vaccinations, involvement of sports and exhibitions the dogs are participating and ensure marketing of the same.


Qualifications

  • Experience in handling various animals such as dogs and small animals
  • Knowledge of animal behaviour, nutrition, and basic medical care
  • Physical fitness and ability to play with dogs.
  • Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English both and ability to work well in a team of professional veterinarians, groomers, breeders, trainers and animal behaviourists.
  • Certification (optional) in Animal Handling or related field is a plus if any.
  • Candidate must be a dog lover and had past experience in handling large breed dogs.
  • This profile involves procurement of dog accessories globally, candidate must be able to do accounting of the same. Negotiation skills are a must for this profile.
  • Candidate will have to manage attendance of care takers and manage a team of 20+ such care takers working in multiple shifts 24x7 under supervisors.


This profile is a 6 day working and involves travelling with the dogs for competitions and expos.
