Job Title: Project Manager – Data Projects

Experience- 10-15 Yrs

Job Location- Bangalore and Gurgaon


Job Description:

We seek an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and oversee data-centric projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data systems, analytics, and processes and exceptional project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of data initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for data-related projects.
  • Could you define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals?
  • Please monitor and track project progress, making sure it's timely.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, data scientists, and IT teams, to gather requirements and provide regular updates.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.

Data Integration and Analysis Oversight:

  • Coordinate efforts to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk and Issue Management:

  • Identify potential project risks related to data systems and analytics.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and developers.
  • Facilitate team collaboration to achieve project goals.

Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure projects adhere to data governance, privacy, and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Promote the use of best practices in data management and analytics.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.


Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience managing projects, focusing on data and analytics.
  • Proven experience delivering data migration, data integration, or analytics projects.


Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with big data tools and platforms (e.g., Python, spark SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Hadoop).
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).


Personal Attributes:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
