Senior Electrical Engineer

This position will oversee a multi-disciplined engineering team within our GTA India organization that provides engineering to order solutions for customer projects with our electrical equipment offer. This role will work closely with NAM Solutions Quotation platform and the respective manufacturing facilities to coordinate Quotation work content. The position will also support Schneider Electric’s middle office team, and commercial teams to provide world class solutions and customer service. The identified candidate will be a member of a cross-functional team that provides general management and direction of a Project engineering and Quotations organization and ensues all performance metrics are achieved.About the Role Responsible for people management including resource planning, hiring, training, goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well-being. Organize the design activity according to the load, project complexity, and required skillset. Manage the Load/capacity of the team and develop versatility in it. Ensure technical quality and service levels are maintained throughout the quotation and engineering lifecycle. Define training according to skill matrix and competencies targets. Ensure compliance with project objectives are maintained within our product definition file and quotation and design intent. Continuous improvement of the design activity in terms of technical knowledge, efficiency, quality, and productivity. Ensure overall customer satisfaction and quality is delivered for both our internal and external customers. Qualifications Qualification & Experience BE/B.Tech/ in Electrical/EEE Engineering with 10+ years of direct engineering & Quotations experience with ETO equipment and minimum of 3yrs of demonstrated leadership/people management skills. Masters in Power system / Control system Engineering will be an added advantageRequired Skills Excellent verbal /written communication skill and interpersonal and customer relation skillsExcellent problem resolution skill and leadership skillsAbility to interact and work effectively with individuals of a different cultural background located in a remote locationAbility to think “outside the box” and creativelyMust work extremely well in a team environment and ability to embrace change.Have strong mediation, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
