With 73,000+ talented people in more than 500 offices across 40 countries, we engineer projects that will help societies grow for lifetimes to come with 4500+ talented people in Noida, Bengaluru & Mumbai offices across India, we engineer projects that will help societies grow for lifetimes to come. www.wsp.comJob Title - Engineer / Senior Engineer - Electrical Design Job Location - BengaluruWork Experience - 6 to 12 YearsBusiness Stream - EngineeringBusiness Segment - Building & PropertyBusiness Unit - UK.Job DescriptionKey Technical Requirements:Demonstrate good attention to detail and show pride in the work produced.Having an understanding of the UK and European regulations applicable to the discipline and how to demonstrate this in project execution.Have a working understanding of latest electrical design software packages to allow the allocation / direction of work on projects.Amtech / Trimble pro-design for LV designRelux/Dialux for lightingHave understanding of working with Revit MEP or other 3D design software to allow the allocation / direction of work on projects.Have an ability to sketch and communicate technical detail graphically and effectively.Ability to develop electrical design layouts and LV single line diagrams in AutoCAD.Able to collaborate with other disciplines including mechanical engineers, architects, civil and structural engineers, etc.Able to communicate effectively (both internally within WSP and externally).Electrical Skills:Undertake electrical services designs from feasibility stage, concept design stage to detailed design stage (i.e. RIBA Stage 4) covering:Low voltage distribution systemsLow voltage single line diagramsLow voltage standby generationLV discrimination studiesUPS systemsCable calculations (via software and by hand)Distribution Board schedulesLighting calculations (via software and by hand)Small powerFire alarmsIntruder detection .Access control & security systemsData cabling and outletsLightning protectionTechnical writing skills such as feasibility reports and design reportsTechnical review skills such as review of Contractor’s submissionsData analysis skills such as ability to analyze half hour metered data.Mandatory Skills - Electrical Design, LV, single line diagram, lighting, Metering.Qualification Stream - Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
