Job Description: QA Automation Engineer (Python)

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of server and storage products.

Key Responsibilities:
Test Automation Framework: Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python, Selenium, and Robot Framework or PyTest.
Test Case Development: Create comprehensive and efficient test cases to cover various test scenarios, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
Test Execution: Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify and report defects.
Defect Tracking: Log and track defects in bug tracking tools and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Test Reporting: Generate detailed test reports to communicate test results and progress to stakeholders.
Continuous Integration: Integrate automation scripts into the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline.
Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
Stay Updated: Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
Required Skills:
Technical Skills: Strong Python programming skills
Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for web automation
Experience with Robot Framework or PyTest for test automation
Knowledge of Linux operating systems
Understanding of server and storage domain, including BIOS and OpenBMC
Familiarity with SQL and database testing
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured)
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
A passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies
Experience:
5-7 years of experience in software quality assurance and automation testing
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Day-to-Day Activities:
Review requirements and design test cases
Develop and maintain automation scripts
Execute automated tests and analyze results
Log and track defects
Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices
