Accounting Process Specialist Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced professional with strong accounting knowledge and hands-on experience with accounting tools to train new hires and existing team members on accounting processes, tools, and best practices.Key Responsibilities:Deliver training sessions for new joiners on accounting processes, tools, and systems.Provide refresher and upskilling training programs for existing employees.Develop training materials, SOPs, process documents, assessments, and knowledge aids.Evaluate trainees' understanding of end-to-end accounting workflows including AP, AR, reconciliations, bookkeeping, reporting, and compliance.Collaborate with operations leaders and quality teams to identify training needs and performance gaps.Maintain training dashboards, attendance records, and evaluation reports.Support process transitions, updates, and implementation of new tools or systems.Ensure all training content aligns with industry standards and client requirements.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.1–6 years of experience as a Trainer or Accounting Process Specialist, preferably in an accounting or finance process environment.Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals and practical experience with accounting tools (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, NetSuite, or similar).Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to simplify complex concepts and train diverse groups effectively.Strong documentation, instructional design, and process-mapping skills.Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
