Intern - Analytics Job DescriptionJob OverviewAs an Intern in our Analytics team, you will play a key role in delivering risk and analytic solutions to the financial services industry. You will work closely with stakeholders across product management, data science, and engineering to drive implementation of risk and data analytic strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality risk and analytic solutions within tight deadlines.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive implementation of risk and data analytic strategies.Develop and generate management reports for portfolio monitoring.Analyze data, identify key differentiating indicators, and drive effective risk mitigation and marketing strategies.Work closely with partner teams to identify, evaluate, and recommend new data that supports overall risk and marketing strategies.Simulate risk and marketing strategies based on portfolio trends.Contribute to model building and deployment efforts with the data science team.Build scorecards that leverage both internal performance data and external performance data.Perform analysis, develop strategies, and create presentations to articulate strategy to the leadership team.RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will ideally have:Quantitative BackgroundEngineering, statistics, math, or economics degree, or related disciplines.Technical SkillsKnowledge of database query language (e.g. SQL) and developer tools such as Python, R , databricks in a finance or analytics field.Problem-Solving SkillsStrong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.Communication SkillsEffective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teams.
