Java Cloud EngineerWe are seeking a skilled Java engineer with expertise in cloud deployment patterns, microservices architecture, and functional programming.Key Responsibilities:Design and Implement Microservices: Utilize modern Java functional programming concepts to create scalable and maintainable microservices.Event-Driven Architecture: Collaborate on event-driven systems using Kafka and apply architectural patterns like Choreography, Strangler, and Sidecar.Cloud Deployment: Develop and deploy applications in GCP using services like Cloud Run, GKE, GCS.Code Quality and Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure clean, testable, and scalable code.Adoption of Modern Java Features: Contribute to the adoption of modern Java features, including Pattern Matching, Records, and Record Patterns.Deployment Patterns and CI/CD Pipelines: Demonstrate a foundational understanding of deployment patterns and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.Required Skills and Qualifications:Strong Java Expertise: Proficiency in Java 8+ and experience with functional programming concepts.Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Microservices Architecture: Experience designing and implementing microservices-based systems.Event-Driven Systems: Knowledge of event-driven architectures and implementation using Kafka.CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices for cloud deployments.Benefits:Opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to the growth of our team.
