The Proppy Future Founder Fellowship - EIR is a highly selective, six-month immersive program designed to identify and groom the next wave of visionary leaders in proptech. Unlike traditional employment, this is a fellowship for high-potential individuals—regardless of age or background—who demonstrate an unparalleled passion for real estate technology, a founder's mindset, and a relentless hustle.
The program's core philosophy is "Learn by Building." Fellows will be thrust into the heart of Proppy's operations, undergoing a rigorous process of unlearning outdated paradigms and relearning the art of building a scalable, AI-first business. This initiative serves a dual purpose: it accelerates Proppy's own innovation by injecting fresh, diverse perspectives, and it solidifies our position as a thought leader and ecosystem builder in the global proptech space.
2. Program Pillars: The "Unlearn, Relearn, Hustle" Framework
The fellowship is structured around three core pillars, mirroring the journey of a successful founder:
● Pillar 1: Unlearn (Deconstructing Assumptions)
○ Objective: Strip away conventional wisdom about real estate, tech building, and business models.
○ Methodology: Sessions led by the founding team and external experts on "First Principles Thinking," "Why Real Estate is Broken," and "Challenging Incumbents." Critical analysis of failed and succesful proptech ventures.
● Pillar 2: Relearn (Building on First Principles)
○ Objective: Rebuild knowledge with a modern, AI-native, customer-obsessed lens.
○ Methodology: Deep-dive modules on:
■ AI & Data Science in Real Estate: NLP for property search, predictive analytics for valuation, generative AI for content.
■ Product Management for Marketplaces: Balancing supply (Builders) and demand (Homebuyers), liquidity triggers, network effects.
■ Go-to-Market (GTM) in Proptech: Digital customer acquisition, building trust online, B2B2C partnership models.
■ Unit Economics & Fundraising: Understanding CAC, LTV, burn rate; crafting a compelling narrative for investors.
● Pillar 3: Hustle (Execution & Impact)
○ Objective: Translate theory into tangible impact on Proppy's business metrics.
○ Methodology: Fellows will own and drive a critical 0-to-1 project from ideation to launch (e.g., launching a new city, testing a new B2B product for builders, optimizing a key funnel metric including presales to final sales and account management end to end).
3. Program Structure & Rotations
The 6-month journey is intensely structured:
● Month 1-2: Functional Rotation & Diagnostics
○ Fellows rotate through core functions: Sales, Product, Growth & Marketing, Operations (Builder relations), and Data Science.
○ Goal: Develop a holistic understanding of the business and identify a key problem area for their capstone project.
● Month 3-4: Capstone Project Definition & Sprinting
○ Fellows pitch their project thesis to the founding team. Once approved, they form a "tiger team" with resources from within Proppy, as heading one core vertical and leading the P&L
○ They are expected to build, measure, and learn rapidly—embracing a lean startup methodology.
● Month 5-6: Scale & Integrate
○ Focus shifts to scaling the successful MVP from the previous sprint and integrating it into the main business operations.
○ Fellows prepare a "Founder's Thesis" document outlining their learnings and a future roadmap for their project.
4. Eligibility & Selection Criteria: The "Hustle" Quotient
We are agnostic to, who you are really:
● Age (21 or 42) - Doesn't matter
● Academic pedigree (IIT/IIM/Ivy or Self-Taught)
● Professional background (ex-founder, corporate executive, fresher OR former real estate agent)
● What matters - Your passion and hunger for hustle in Proptech.
We are fanatical about:
● Demonstrated Passion for Proptech: Evidence of deep curiosity (e.g., a blog, a side project, angel investing, thorough market knowledge).
● Proven Hustle: A track record of achieving ambitious goals with limited resources. We will look for evidence of impact, not just tenure.
● Grit & Growth Mindset: The self-awareness to unlearn and the humility to relearn. Resilience in the face of ambiguity.
● First-Principles Thinking: Ability to break down complex problems into fundamental truths.
5. Value Proposition: Why Apply?

● Credential: The "Proppy Fellow" credential will be a mark of exceptional calibre in the Proptech ecosystem.
6. Application Process
A rigorous, multi-stage process designed to filter for hustle:
- Online Application: Focused on outcomes and projects, not resumes/ CV’s. To include a short video pitch.
- The "Hustle" Task: A 72-hour real-world case study (e.g., "How would you acquire 100 premium builders in Bangalore in 10 days?").
- Interview Panel: With founders, team members, and a current VC investor to assess culture-add and strategic thinking.
- Final Review: By the CEO & CTO
