Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Merchandiser, located in Mumbai. The Fashion Merchandiser will be responsible for planning, executing and managing production and inventory across all stores. Additionally, this position requires selecting and purchasing all raw materials requires to execute production. Daily tasks include analyzing sales data, managing inventory levels, coordinating material procurnt with vendors, assigning work to patrern makers and karigars and working closely across teams and vendors to manage production to optimize retail performance.
Qualifications
- Excellent Communication skills and ability to work with and across multiple teams of pattern makers, karigars and artisans
- Experience in Production Planning and Merchandising and working in a Fashion Retail environment
- Strong analytical skills and aptitude for data analysis
- Creative thinking and multi-tasking to balance inventory demand to supply
- Organised and efficiencly managing raw material levels to ensure smooth execution of production
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work collaboratively
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Deign or Merchandising. Technical garment knowledge is mandatory
