Process OverviewThe Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFC) Investigator performs end-to-end investigations across one or more lines of business relevant to the investigators specific area of responsibility. In the investigative role, the Investigator conducts routine to complex investigations, including money laundering, or terrorist financing. Job DescriptionResponsibilities for this role include completing investigations while ensuring cases meet or exceed closure and quality metrics, reporting facts of the investigation to assist in identifying potential operational or compliance risks, and recommending potentially suspicious activities to money laundering risk officer (MLRO) in a timely and accurate manner for submission to regulators and/or law enforcement. This role may partner with GFC Risk Management, front line units or other stakeholders to resolve investigations. This role may ultimately report to any number of investigations teams across consumer AML.ResponsibilitiesCompletes investigations while ensuring cases meet or exceed closure and quality metrics.Reports facts of the investigation to assist in identifying potential operational or compliance risks.Provides recommendations on potentially suspicious activities in a timely and accurate manner for submission to MLROs.Partners with GFC Management, front line units ("FLU") or other stakeholders to resolve investigations.Liaise with stakeholder, identifies process / performance gaps, and provide suggestions for improved case investigation activity.Provide guidance to other teammates and drive process quality.Work on process related reports leveraging tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, etc.Experience RangeMinimum Years Business & Functional Experience: 4 - 6 YearsMinimum one year experience with, AML, Risk, or Compliance experience and/or knowledge of financial crimes typologies; financial services, investigative service, or law enforcementEducationBachelorsMBA (Preferred)Certifications:  ACAMS – Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (Preferred)Foundational skillsBSA knowledge relative to Banking and AMLProficiency in Tableau /Microsoft Excel / data analyticsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent writing skills, with experience writing in a concise and understandable format.Determine whether activity should be escalated for further review based on alert reviews.Ability to decision whether suspicious activity reports (SARs) should be filed based on case investigations.Desired skillsAdditional Technical/Functional Experience (e.g. Industry type): Financial Services and/or related government entityKnowledge related to retail and/or institutional brokerage products and services and applicable compliance rules and regulations.Correspondent BankingInteraction with Front Line Units & Customers/ClientsWilling to work on rotational shifts.Work Timings12:30 – 21:30Job LocationGIFT, Gujarat
