Job Overview

We are looking for a PMP Certified ITGQ - Project Management professional with 5 years of experience to join our team. Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution


• Lead the end-to-end project management process, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.


• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management strategies.


• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and business units.


• Ensure that all project milestones and deliverables meet quality standards and align with business requirements.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting


• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent updates on project progress, risks, and issues.


• Prepare and present project status reports, including risk assessments, resource utilization, and budget performance.


• Manage expectations and negotiate changes to the project scope and timeline with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.


• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and cross-functional teams.

Team Management & Collaboration


• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration between IT, business, and external vendors.


• Assign responsibilities, track performance, and manage conflicts to ensure smooth project delivery.


• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project managers and team members.


• Ensure that all team members are aligned with project objectives and provide ongoing support to help them meet deadlines and deliverables.

Risk Management & Issue Resolution


• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, developing mitigation plans and contingency strategies as needed.


• Proactively resolve project issues, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines, resources, and quality.


• Escalate critical risks and issues to senior management and provide actionable solutions.


• Ensure that project risks are documented, tracked, and mitigated throughout the project lifecycle.

Budget & Resource Management


• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring proper allocation of resources and tracking of expenditures.


• Monitor resource utilization, ensuring the team has the necessary tools and skills to successfully complete the project.


• Control and track project expenditures, ensuring that the project remains within the approved budget.


• Optimize resource allocation and adjust as needed to maintain project timelines and goals.

Quality Assurance & Documentation


• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.


• Maintain and ensure that project documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.


• Ensure that final project deliverables meet quality standards and are in compliance with business and technical specifications.


• Conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Project Closure & Handover


• Oversee the successful handover of the project deliverables to the business or client, ensuring all necessary documentation and training are provided.


• Facilitate project closure meetings, ensuring all objectives are met and that final evaluations are completed.


• Ensure that any unresolved issues are handed over to the appropriate teams for ongoing management.

Qualifications & Skills


• PMP Certification or PMI-ACP is required.


• 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT projects.


• Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and delivering IT projects within scope, on time, and on budget.


• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).


• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Trello, or Asana.


• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.


• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving results.


• Knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and enterprise software development processes is preferred.


• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Qualifications


• Experience in managing IT transformation projects, software development, or infrastructure implementation.


• Familiarity with cloud technologies, network systems, or enterprise applications.


• Experience working with clients, vendors, or third-party service providers on large-scale projects.


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
