Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Oracle ERP Project Manager to lead mid to large-scale development projects within the Oracle ERP environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong Oracle ERP background and a proven track record of managing projects from initiation through to successful go-live. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining excellent communication with the client. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful Oracle ERP projects in a hybrid work environment across our Chennai, Bangalore, or Hyderabad locations. Responsibilities : Project Management Leadership : - Manage mid to large-scale development projects in the Oracle ERP space, taking ownership from initiation to go-live. - Develop and maintain project plans using Microsoft Project, ensuring all tasks, timelines, and resources are accurately tracked. - Lead and guide project teams, providing direction and support throughout the project lifecycle. - Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to the client and internal stakeholders. - Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices. Oracle ERP Expertise : - Leverage a strong understanding of the Oracle ERP Project Life Cycle to effectively manage project activities. - Utilize your Oracle ERP background to collaborate with the team, provide technical guidance, and assist in identifying solutions. - Understand and manage project dependencies and integration points within the Oracle ERP landscape. - Manage client expectations and ensure project deliverables align with their requirements. Project Planning and Tracking : - Create and maintain detailed project plans using Microsoft Project, including defining scope, tasks, timelines, and resource allocation. - Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and manage project changes effectively. - Monitor project budgets and ensure projects are delivered within the defined financial parameters. Team Collaboration and Guidance : - Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. - Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members. - Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the project team. Required Skills and Experience : - Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, specifically within the Oracle ERP space. - Proven experience managing mid to large-scale development projects in Oracle ERP. - Demonstrated ability to execute projects from the initiation phase through to successful go-live. - Strong understanding of the Oracle ERP Project Life Cycle. - Oracle ERP background with the ability to work with the team in leading the project and guiding them on solutions. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as the Project Manager will be directly reporting to the Client. - Proficiency in using Microsoft Project to create and track project plans. - Experience working in a hybrid mode. Preferred Skills (Bonus) : - Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP). - Experience with specific Oracle ERP modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain). - Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
