Transaction Processing Specialist

Job Overview:The role of Administrator is a critical one, supporting the business team in the execution of functions related to transaction processing. Key responsibilities include timely response to queries, record maintenance, reconciliation, and adherence to internal and regulatory procedures. To ensure smooth processing of transactions, effective communication with internal stakeholders is vital.Main Responsibilities:Perform duties diligently as Maker for assigned activities.Understand process/policies and adhere to expectations.Work closely with overseas branches to process/execute transactions as per accuracy/quality standards.Learn system functions and adhere to controls.Support overseas branches to resolve operational incidents/reporting (if any).Provide suggestions to improve/streamline operational processes.Demonstrate high levels of accuracy and proficiency in handling customer transactions and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely settlement of transactions.Customer Interaction:Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with key stakeholders within MUFG.Support and resolve customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.Collaborate with Compliance to understand operational guidelines, MUFG's standard procedures, and local regulations, assessing their impact on daily operations workflow.Partner with wider operations teams without compromising compliance and procedure to support customer requests for processing in a timely manner.Engage with external counterparts to share information, resolving any inquiries.To support developmental projects relating to the department.Key Qualifications:Minimum 1-3 years of experience.Strong PC skills (MS Office).Solid knowledge of deposit operations.Effective interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with others.A good understanding of basic banking products.Experience in clearing & payment processing (both Inward & Outward).An understanding of local relevant regulations.
