Director - Data Solutions Job OpportunityThe company is seeking a skilled Director to lead the APAC regional Data Solutions Analyst function. This role will oversee the standardization of semantic models, unified data definitions, Power BI solutions, metadata/lineage, and GenAI use cases across markets.Key Responsibilities:Develop and scale a regional Data Solutions Analyst team through hiring, coaching, and performance & career development.Design and govern unified data models and semantic layers for General Insurance (claims, underwriting, actuarial, product, distribution, finance) aligned to global standards.Deliver enterprise-level Power BI solutions with certified datasets, reusable data products, and governed self-service capabilities.Optimize the Power BI platform by managing governance, Premium capacity, XMLA, ALM/Deployment Pipelines, tuning, and workspace standards.Collaborate with Snowflake, Redshift, and Informatica teams for scalable and auditable data pipelines.Lead the strategy for insurance analytics using GenAI - RAG/embeddings, LLM prototypes, responsible AI, and compliance.Implement and operate data catalog and lineage platforms such as Purview, Collibra, Alation, or Informatica EDC.Drive cross-market program delivery and ensure strong executive reporting and stakeholder alignment.Requirements:8–12+ years in Data Solutions, BI, Analytics, or Data Product roles with people management experience.Expertise in Power BI platform administration.Hands-on experience with Snowflake/AWS Redshift and Informatica or similar ETL/ELT tools.Deep experience designing semantic layers and unified models for insurance analytics.Experience delivering GenAI use cases (RAG, embeddings, LLM prototypes).Proven implementation of data catalog and lineage platforms.Strong senior stakeholder and program management skills across APAC and international collaboration.
