Company Description Founded in 2020, Veracy Consulting provides Consulting and Development services to Commodities Trading clients across different geographies. We are looking for Software Engineer to work as part of our Offshore Development Team. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Engineer. The role is located in Delhi, but work from home is acceptable. The Software Engineer will be involved in day-to-day tasks such as software development, programming, and back-end web development. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software solutions, adhering to best practices in coding and software engineering. Responsibilities ❖ Build products as part of an effective, highly motivated and agile development team, responsible for a medium size portfolio of business applications ❖ Deliver changes and new features in line with customer's expectations, while maintaining high level of coding standards (clean code, automated tests, pull requests, CI/CD)❖ Support the team by contributing to continuous improvement of DevOps culture and tooling ❖ Constantly keep yourself fit with regards to latest technology and other work-related know-how; and apply the acquired knowledge whenever it is appropriate ❖ Take over end-to-end responsibility for some applications (operations and first line support is covered by an Operations Team) Technical Experience ❖ Strong experience with development of business applications using .NET/.NET Core and REST APIs ❖ Experience building frontends for web or desktop (Angular, WPF)❖ Previous contribution to quality assurance (designing / automating tests)❖ Experience with databases (MS SQL, MongoDB), message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)❖ Experience with microservices, domain services, containers (Docker, Kubernetes)❖ Ability to design CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, Octopus or Azure DevOps ❖ Knowledge of observability tools and practices (Grafana, ELK)❖ Financial or commodity industry background is good to have Qualifications B. Tech / MCA Must Have Skills ❖ C#.NET / .NET core ❖ MS SQL ❖ CI/CD Pipeline Work Location Delhi (Hybrid)
