Our bouquet of Modernization Engineering Services cuts across Cloud, Data, Dynamics, Contact Centers, and around newer technologies like Generative AI, MS Fabric, and other modernization platforms.JD of SQL DBA:We are looking for guys who can work from Microsoft office 5 days on Night shifts.You will be provided with Night shift allowances, Cab Facilities, and Food pass.3-10 years of Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration experience in SQL Server 2008R2/2008/2012/2014/2016.Installed SQL Server 2005/2008/2008R2/2012/2014/2016/2017 on new 32-bit and x64-bit Operating System.Experience in Migrating from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2012 and from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2014/2016.Experience in upgrading SQL server software to new versions and applying service packs and patches.Proficient with SQL Management Studio, Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer, rescheduling jobs with SQL Server.Creating DB Maintenance plans, rebuilding/reorganizing indexes & performing integrity checks.Highly proficient in database Backup, Restore, Recovery, Linked servers, and Database Maintenance Plans.Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recoveries like Replication, Log Shipping, Mirroring, and Clustering.Proficient in implementing different types of Replication Models like Snapshot, Transactional, and Merge.Experience in Implementing Always on in SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2017.Experience in Implementing Database Mirroring in SQL server 2005/2008/2008R2.Involved in Installing, Configuring, and Maintaining of Cluster in SQL Server 2008R2 and SQL Server 2012 in Active/Passive.Auditing database configuration and security configurations.Actively involved in System Performance by tuning SQL queries and stored procedures by using SQL Profiler, Database Engine Tuning Advisor, Windows performance monitor, DMVs, Resource Governor, Data collection Reports, crystal reports, DBCC and Custom Script, Built-in performance Report and Activity Monitor.Experience with Database Backup and Restore.Customer management and teaming skills, supporting customers on phone and written correspondence regarding technical questions and issuesLogical and Critical thinking skillsDeep technical and troubleshooting skillsPassion for technology and learningCommunicate efficiently both written and verbally with a wide variety of customers.Role and Responsibilities:Minimum 5+ of experience is required in Technical Support RolesAdministration support for SQL databases and/or Azure Cloud-basedMust have knowledge of basics of Azure and SQLHands on experience in production support with Database experienceExperience supporting or maintaining complex mission critical database solutions, RDMS technologies, and/or SQL language.Excellent understanding of Database concepts and deploymentsParticipate in case triage meetings to share knowledge with other engineers and develop efficient customer solutions. Consistently share best practices with team members and help create a knowledge base article to solve/workaround that issueManage all customer communication with the appropriate level of etiquette, timeliness, and professionalism, whilst working towards achieving the KPI targets.Experience working in a team environment, managing a diverse workloadAbility to work independently, be adaptable to change and varied working hoursAbility to take quick decisions, like when to escalate a ticket to next levelStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, an ability to use various data collection tools and methodologies to analyze problems, determine root causes and develop solutions.Desirable Skills:Excellent Communication Skills – Verbal, listening, and written (including technical writing).Passion for technology, lifelong learning and professional development.Experience in one or more of these areasExperience supporting Azure or other cloud-based solutions.Microsoft certifications in data platform or Azure technologiesBasic Networking, Storage and Platform troubleshooting skills.
