Job Description:


The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a team within the operations department. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency, ensure adherence to company policies, and meet organizational objectives. The Team Lead Operations Manager will provide leadership, guidance, and support to the team, ensuring optimal performance while managing resources, timelines, and quality standards.


Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead and motivate a team of operations staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and development plans for team members.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention through continuous feedback, coaching, and skill development initiatives.

Operational Efficiency & Performance:

  • Oversee daily operational processes and ensure they are running smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with company goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet or exceed performance targets.

Project Management & Execution:

  • Manage and oversee multiple operational projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and smooth execution of projects and operational processes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and reports.

Problem Solving & Issue Resolution:

  • Address and resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of operational inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Handle escalated issues from team members or customers, ensuring timely resolution.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure the highest standards of operational performance.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Reporting & Data Analysis:

  • Track, analyze, and report on operational metrics to leadership, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
