JOB DESCRIPTION:Manitou Equipment India in Greater Noida, UP, India is having an opening for DesignLead Position for NPIP Projects in Aerial Work platform Business. Position is critical forintroduction of new range of MEWPS to cater global markets.Specific Responsibilities:• Designing of Articulated boom architecture .Understanding of AWP Power System, Hydraulics & Electrical Integration• Should be proficient in machine structures , Stability ,Traction , power ,Torque and Gradeability correlation calculation.• Interaction with suppliers for selection of machine aggregates and integration in machine.• Checking of 3D Design layouting , 2D drawings , DFMEA , DFM/TFR review and closure with design updates .• Integration of various subsystem in CAD and control of combination master in PLM .• Involvement in Proto machine built, analysis & resolution of machine concerns.• Involvement in cooling trials of engine and hydraulics system .• Tolerance stack up calculation and discussion and coordination for CFD and FEA on fluids and structures.• Input to Service team for operator instruction and parts catalogueinformation .• Preparation of Internal dvpsor and external DVPSOR requirement and submission to Homologation agency .• Good understanding of problem solving techniques like 8D , Fishbone diagrams and Pareto charts.• BOM Management and PFEP creation with bom cost analysis along with Purchase team.• Preparation of SOR , Sign-off documentation and technical reviews with suppliers.• Coordination with cross functional team for implementation of design changes on product.• Good understanding of NPD Process and various Gate process requirements.
